The Oracles Core Unit handles all of the Oracle needs of the Maker Protocol.

Governance Communications

The Governance Communications Core Unit performs a set of programs that focus on MakerDAO's informational accessibility, stakeholder coordination, and communication practices as a decentralized and public organization.

Dai Foundation

The independent legal entity Dai Foundation has been created to safeguard what cannot be decentralized in Maker DAO, such as ownership of trademarks, domains, software copyrights, etc., which is connected to a real-world centralized governance body.

Strategic Happiness focuses on making people happy and creating a community by Shitposting and sending Airdrops.

Development & UX

Enabling the best-in-class decentralized decision making for the Maker Protocol by providing a meaningful user experience for all governance participants.

Starknet Engineering

This Core Unit opens the door to leveraging StarkNet to keep the Maker protocol attractive to users in the ZK-rollup, Layer 2 domain.

Data Insights Core Unit is responsible for providing free and permissionless datasets based on detailed Maker Protocol history.

Immunefi Security

The overall goal of the Immunefi Security CU is to secure the Maker ecosystem through multiple angles by leveraging its existing and growing security community and expertise. 

Sidestream Auction Services

Improve security, transparency and accessibility of the Maker Protocol by providing and maintaining auction services through open-source development.

Deco Protocol

Deco Fixed Rate Core Unit aims to integrate, manage, and maintain the Deco fixed rate protocol.

Strategic Finance

Providing financial reporting and analysis to assist the DAO in evaluating the financial health of the protocol to enable strategic decision making and allocate capital more effectively.

TechOps

Tech Ops Core Unit provides technical support services to MakerDAO stakeholders and liaison with external service providers while ensuring the effectiveness, reliability and security of the MakerDAO infrastructure layer.

Events

The Events Core Unit handles planning, organization, and execution of MakerDAO branded events.

Content Production

The Content Production core unit is responsible for creating, and supporting the creation of written, audio, and visual content that educates audiences on MakerDAO, promotes the work and culture of the ecosystem, and encourages people to use Dai and the Maker Protocol.
